Interbat's sale and promotion forces are well trained. They are quipped adequate product knowledge and selling skill through regular trainings.
A force of ± 1000 medical representatives introduces Interbat products to more than 32.000 doctors in Indonesia, and a national distribution network in 123 cities.
Now, with ± 250 products in the second quarter of 2010, Interbat’s overall sales revenue ranks fourth highest among all local pharmaceutical companies, or seventh among all local and foreign pharmaceutical companies combined [according to Indonesia Pharmaceutical Audit and Indonesia Hospital Pharmaceutical Audit. Export
Since we first started to export our products in 1999, Interbat is steadily growing its international operations to reach 11 different countries by 2010. These include Nigeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Yemen, Suriname, Malaysia, Philippines, East Timor, and Cambodia.
We have a dedicated Export Division since 1999, and are always looking for ways to expand our export sector through strategic cross-border partnerships. In particular, we are looking for overseas distribution partners that possess local expertise and know-how’s in their respective countries. Above all, we seek for mutual synergies that both parties can benefit from.
Import
Our import sector is also an important contributor to our overall cause to provide society with breakthrough medicines and treatments. Interbat was first created in 1948 as the sole Indonesian distributor to many European pharmaceuticals. Even now, Interbat is always looking to create strategic alliances with international research-based firms to introduce the newest medicines to Indonesia, both as ethical and OTC products. Currently, we have working relationships with a number of European research-based companies to distribute licensed products in Indonesia and within Southeast Asia.
